On In The Lakes are looking for tech-savvy creatives based in Cumbria or North Lancashire who’d like to cover events and happenings across The Lake District and surrounding areas.
You’ll be responsible for visiting businesses across the patch, capturing quality UGC style content for videos across our platforms – website, TikTok, Insta and Facebook.
Our Content Producer roles are ideal for students or media-minded individuals looking to top up their earnings on a freelance basis.
About On In The Lakes
Hidden gems, food & drink, things to do and new openings – we’re the new PR machine for The Lake District. A new way for local businesses to promote their services to an engaged, socially savvy audience with scroll-stopping content.
In the last 12 months, we’ve amassed 160,000 views on our website and reached over 600,000 people through our social channels. The future is bright for On In The Lakes with plans to expand our coverage of the area and introduce new content formats that engage people who live and regularly visit The Lake District.
Here’s what you’ll do…
It ultimately depends what skills you bring to the table. You could be:
- Recording content on your phone (in 4k, using our gimbals and kit) at events, businesses and locations across Cumbria
- Editing & producing videos (you must know how to use Adobe Premiere, our video editing software of choice)
- Presenting to camera for our ‘on the street’ style content
What we’re looking for from you…
We’re not looking for a bunch of people who all have the same skill-sets. Ultimately, we want people who know how to create compelling content, are good with their laptop and mobile phone.
